Endless Potential Therapy PLLC

LICENSED THERAPIST. ILLINOIS & TEXAS

Meet Kahea, LCPC, Telehealth Therapist in Texas and Illinois

I’m Kahea Sammons, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor in Texas and Illinois. I provide online therapy for anxiety and depression for adults who are used to holding it all together until it starts to feel unsustainable.

Through telehealth therapy, I work with clients who are ready to better understand themselves, move through burnout, and feel more grounded in their day-to-day lives.

Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, capable, and deeply responsible. They’ve built lives that look stable from the outside, but internally, something feels off like persistent anxiety, emotional fatigue, or a growing sense of disconnection.

If you’re looking for a therapist in Austin Texas, therapy in Dallas Texas, counseling in Houston Texas, or a therapist in Lubbock Texas, my virtual therapy services allow you to access consistent care without adding more to your schedule.

My role is to help you slow things down, understand what’s actually happening beneath the surface, and begin shifting patterns that no longer serve you.

MY APPROACH

What Can You Expect From My Therapy Services

Therapy is not just about talking through what’s happening. It’s about understanding why it’s happening and learning how to respond differently. My approach integrates several evidence-based methods, allowing the work to be both practical and deeply reflective.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

CBT helps us identify the patterns between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Many high-functioning adults live with constant internal pressure or self-criticism without fully realizing how automatic those patterns have become. Together, we work to challenge unhelpful thinking, reduce anxiety, and create more balanced, realistic ways of responding to everyday stress.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

DBT focuses on building skills that help you regulate emotions, tolerate stress, and stay present. This is especially helpful if you feel overwhelmed, reactive, or emotionally drained. You’ll learn practical tools you can use in real time, while also understanding the deeper emotional patterns behind those reactions.

Psychodynamic & Insight-Oriented Work

This part of the work looks at the bigger picture. We explore how past experiences, relationships, and early patterns continue to shape how you think, feel, and relate to others. For many clients, this is where things begin to click, understanding not just what’s happening, but where it comes from and how to change it at the root.

AREAS OF FOCUS

What We Work On Together

Each of these areas is something I work with regularly. Therapy is rarely limited to one as most clients come in navigating a few at once.

High-Functioning Anxiety

You look calm and capable from the outside. Inside, your mind rarely stops scanning, preparing, and anticipating what could go wrong.

Burnout & Overwhelm

Not just tiredness. The kind of depletion that doesn’t go away after a weekend and the version of you that used to care feels distant.

Core Specialty 100%

Emotional Regulation

Emotions that feel too big, too sudden, or completely absent. We build steadiness that comes from within rather than from everything going right.

Evidence-Based Work 100%

Self-Worth & Identity

The “not enough” narrative, imposter feelings, and the exhausting habit of being who everyone needs before being who you are.

MY CLIENTS

Who I Help Overcome Anxiety, Depression, and Burnout

The people I work with look different on the outside but often carry very similar things on the inside. If you recognise yourself in any of these, this practice was built with you in mind.

High-Achieving Professionals

You're used to being dependable, capable, and composed. Others rely on you, and you've likely learned to push through stress without slowing down. Over time, that pressure can build into anxiety, exhaustion, or a quiet sense that something isn't working the way it used to. Therapy creates space to step out of that cycle and understand what you actually need.

Creatives and Entrepreneurs

You're building something meaningful, but it comes with uncertainty, pressure, and a constant inner dialogue that can be hard to turn off. The drive to create and succeed often coexists with self-doubt and burnout. Our work focuses on helping you find balance, clarity, and a more sustainable way of showing up.

Adults Navigating Anxiety and Burnout

You may notice ongoing worry, difficulty relaxing, or clear signs of burnout at work that are getting harder to ignore. Even when things are fine, your mind stays active and your body rarely feels at ease. Therapy helps you slow down these patterns and develop a different relationship with stress.

Adults Working Through Past Patterns

You've done some reflection before, but certain patterns in relationships, self-worth, or emotional responses keep repeating. This work focuses on understanding those patterns at a deeper level so you can move forward with more awareness and choice.

FAQs

How do I get started?

The first step is reaching out through the contact form or by email. From there, we’ll schedule a free 15-minute phone consultation to talk briefly about what you’re looking for and whether we might be a good fit. If we decide to move forward, we’ll book your first full session from there. There’s no pressure or commitment involved in the initial call.

How long are sessions and how often will we meet?

Individual sessions are 50 minutes. Most clients begin with weekly sessions, which tends to support the most consistent progress.

As things shift and stabilise over time, some clients move to every other week.

The frequency is always something we decide on together based on your needs and what’s realistic for your schedule.

What do we work on in sessions together?

Sessions are focused on what you’re carrying right now and the patterns underneath it.

That might look like unpacking a stressful week, exploring where a recurring emotional response comes from, building concrete skills for managing anxiety or difficult emotions, or doing deeper insight work around identity and self-worth.

The work is collaborative, we move at a pace that feels right for you, and the direction is always shaped by what’s most meaningful and useful in your life.

Is this the right level of care for me?

My practice is designed for adults who are generally functioning in their day-to-day lives but are experiencing significant emotional stress, burnout, anxiety, or recurring patterns that are affecting their wellbeing and relationships.

If you are currently in crisis, experiencing active suicidal ideation, or need a higher level of psychiatric support, I will help connect you with the appropriate resources. If you’re unsure whether this is the right fit, the free 15-minute consultation is a good place to start.

We can talk through what you’re navigating and figure it out together.

What age range does Kahea work with?

I work exclusively with adults, typically 18 and older.

My practice is specifically tailored to the concerns that show up in adult life; career pressure, burnout, relationship patterns, identity, and the emotional weight that builds over years of high functioning.

Do you accept insurance or private pay?

I accept several insurance plans.

For clients who prefer additional privacy or flexibility, private pay is also available.

If you have questions about whether your specific plan is accepted, feel free to reach out before scheduling.

Is telehealth therapy as effective as in-person therapy?

Research consistently shows that telehealth therapy produces outcomes comparable to in-person therapy for anxiety, depression, burnout, and many other concerns.

For many clients, the convenience of attending from home or their office actually makes it easier to show up consistently, and consistency is one of the strongest predictors of progress in therapy.

What do I need for telehealth sessions?

A private space where you feel comfortable speaking openly, a stable internet connection, and a device with a camera and microphone.

Sessions are conducted through a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. You’ll receive a link before your appointment.

Where can I request my healthcare records?

You can request your records by contacting me directly at contact@endlesspotentialtherapy.com.

Please include your full name, date of birth, and the specific records you are requesting.

I will respond within a reasonable timeframe in accordance with applicable state and federal regulations.

Do you offer therapy in Texas and Illinois only?

My license allows me to practice in Texas and Illinois, which means I can formally take on clients who are located in either of those states.

That said, if you’re based somewhere else and are curious about working together, you’re always welcome to reach out. Depending on your location and situation, there may be options worth exploring, and if I’m not able to work with you directly, I’m happy to help point you toward the right resources.

You’ve Been Strong Enough for Long Enough. Let’s Work on This Together.
